A lot has happened in the past month or two! First, baby is now 21 weeks old in my tummy! Its so exciting! We had our big ultrasound and it’s a………
BOY!
Hubby and I are going back and forth between two names, but inshaAllah we’ll agree soon. I’ll let ya’ll know (if there are actually any readers left…LOL)
So I was actually off work for a while. I had some bad back pain and some pretty bad cramping so Doc put me on medical leave. Relaxing - yes, stress free? Of course not! To date, I have not yet been paid by the insurance company. That’s over 2 months salary just waiting in yonder-land. Ugh - it was sooooooooooooo frustrating. I felt absolutely horrible putting all that pressure on my hubby. He works so hard already and I didn’t want him to feel even more pressured, ya know? Haram, he was so worried about us.
So I have finally been able to submit all of the supplimental paperwork they need - maybe I’ll get paid one day. Allahu 3alim. But I’ll tell you one thing, I have to be here (@ work) for 12 weeks and I won’t stay here a second longer! This place is the exact same as I left it, except people just stopped caring even in the slightest. People just leave work whenever they want, don’t call in, all documents are minimal to say the least, etc. I guess that could be both a good and bad thing - I won’t have to stress too much these next 12 weeks but knowing me, I’ll have a hard time adjusting :/
It’s really slow at work too, so I’ll probably be posting up a storm - mostly pointless rants and thoughts I suppose.
